DIRUM team awarded MRC funds

Further development of DIRUM scheduled for 2012

The DIRUM research team has received further funding from the Medical Research Council to:

(i) develop DIRUM into a repository of empirical evidence on the validity and reliability of resource use instruments;

(ii) expand DIRUM to include resource use instruments from outside the UK;

(iii) conduct a review of economic evaluations in which resource use instruments catalogued in DIRUM have been used;

(iv) conduct an updated systematic review of the empirical evidence on the validity and reliability, and factors affecting the validity of resource use measures
