Narrative of presentation given at Edinburgh CTMC available on line.

Back in November we gave a presentation on some DIRUM research at the MRC Clinical Trials Methodology conference in Edinburgh.

The presentation described our citation review of published economic evaluations and other cost studies based on the 38 RUMs listed in DIRUM as of August 2012.

The purpose of the review was to: (i) provide evidence of how the measures were used in practice; (ii) investigate which items of resource use were most frequently measured by patient recall; and (iii) compare estimates if more than one measure was used for the same item of resource.
